Conditioning cold storage logistics, they need dry air, so that no condensation forms. Sial dehumidifiers can work at very low temperatures ( 0-5 degrees Celsius) which would fit your requirements.
Although the majority of stored goods usually only require a minimum of heat, logistics heating is essential, especially in the storage and retrieval process and in the "person-to-goods" logistics concept. The Workplace Ordinance stipulates that employees must be provided with a heated workplace (e.g., the picking area) with a room temperature of 17°C. This is partly for health reasons, but also for job satisfaction. Wherever people work, it must be warm and comfortable in winter.
However, logistics heating also has other functions to fulfill. For example, outer packaging must be protected from moisture, and sprinkler systems must be kept frost-free and, in the case of oxidation-sensitive goods such as bright steel, condensate-free. Cold penetration occurs primarily in the loading and unloading areas. Even if the doors are equipped with buffers, significant ventilation heat losses occur here during opening and closing times and during loading and unloading. In particular, the bulk goods being stored can bring cold air into the room, depending on their mass. In the worst-case scenario, freshly brought-in goods act like a block of ice. The warmer room air would condense directly on the stored goods, thus creating moisture.
