The China Import and Export Commodities Fair, also known as the Canton Fair, was founded in the spring of 1957 and held in Guangzhou in the spring and autumn of each year. The Canton Fair, jointly hosted by the Ministry of Commerce and the People's Government of Guangdong Province and hosted by the China Foreign Trade Center, is a comprehensive international trade event with the longest history, the largest scale, the most complete range of goods, the largest number of buyers and the widest source, the best transaction effect and the best reputation in China. It is known as the first exhibition in China, the barometer and weathervane of China's foreign trade.

The 133rd Canton Fair Promotion Conference was held in Guangzhou on February 28. Chu Shijia, director of the China Foreign Trade Center, said that the Canton Fair will open on April 15, fully resume the physical exhibition, and invite new and old friends to reunite offline.
It is reported that the fourth phase of the Canton Fair will be opened for the first time. The exhibition area will expand from 1.18 million square meters in the past to 1.5 million square meters, and the scale will reach a new high. At the same time, there will be more than 30000 enterprises participating in the exhibition, and more than 5000 high-quality enterprises with the titles of single champion of manufacturing industry and national high-tech enterprises, and the quality of the exhibition will be significantly improved.
At the same time, this Canton Fair will optimize the exhibition structure, add three new exhibition areas of industrial automation and intelligent manufacturing, new energy and intelligent Internet vehicles, maternity and baby products, and three new special areas of intelligent life, silver economy, testing reagents and protective products. On the basis of maintaining 16 categories of goods, the total number of exhibition areas will reach 54, and the total number of special areas will reach 159, comprehensively displaying the latest level of industrial development and the latest achievements of scientific and technological progress.
